Malaysian top striker Safee Sali chose to play for the Pelita Jaya FC Club. He officially extended his contract with the club based in Karawang, Indonesia until January 31, 2014. Safee Sali will receive a monthly salary amounting to IDR 350 million (RM118, 000) per month. This lucrative offer included other benefits such as vehicles, personal guides and lodging. One of the Thailand football club, Muangthong United FC also interested to get Safee, but according to Safee, he said he is more comfortable with Pelita and also very happy staying in Indonesia now.
