LAMAN web espnstar.my melaporkan penyerang Pelita Jaya, Safee Sali sah akan menyertai Johor bagi saingan Liga Malaysia 2013. Namun wujud kesamaran apabila Buletin Utama TV3 melaporkan Safee terkejut dengan berita tersebut. Safee dilaporkan berkata tidak wujud sebarang perbincangan dengan mana-mana kelab dalam tempor terdekat. "Saya tidak terlibat langsung dengan program pada malam ini.. (lagi pun) saya terpaksa fokus dengan skuad kebangsaan (Piala AFF Suzuki). "Saya kena ikut peraturan dan disiplin team.. tak boleh ke mana-mana sampai diberitahu," Kata Safee sebagaimana laporan Buletin Utama malam ini.

KUALA LUMPUR 6 Nov. - Keputusan Penyerang Pasukan Bola Sepak Kebangsaan Safee Sali menyertai skuad Liga Super Johor pada musim depan adalah untuk 'menyelamatkan' kariernya dalam arena bola sepak. Dengan nada tenang, beliau menjelaskan kesungguhan yang ditunjukkan Persatuan Bolasepak Negeri Johor (PBNJ) mendapatkan khidmatnya, juga mendorong beliau memilih menyarung jersi pasukan 'Harimau Selatan' itu. "Dalam keadaan sekarang, saya pilih menyertai Johor untuk menyelamatkan karier saya. Saya nampak usaha Johor untuk cuba membuat perubahan dalam arena bola sepak negara... saya terima dan hormati cara mereka. "Saya dapat rasakan Johor akan memberi impak yang amat positif dalam saingan liga musim depan," katanya ketika ditemui di Wisma Persatuan Bolasepak Malaysia (FAM) di Kelana Jaya, hari ini. Safee kini berada di Wisma FAM bersama skuad kebangsaan dalam persediaan menghadapi perlawanan separuh akhir Piala AFF Suzuki 2012 menentang Thailand di sini, Ahad ini dan di Bangkok pada 13 Disember. Semalam, Setiausaha Kehormat PBNJ, Suhairi Hashim mengesahkan bahawa pemain kelab Arema Indonesia itu telah menandatangani perjanjian kontrak dengan disaksikan Presiden PBNJ, Tunku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim di Wisma FAM. Kontrak Safee selama setahun bersama Johor adalah berasaskan pinjaman. Selain Johor, Safee yang bersyukur kerana disenaraikan dalam skuad Liga Super Johor, berkata beberapa pasukan lain turut serius mendapatkan khidmatnya sejak awal tahun ini. Safee berkata dengan dibarisi beberapa pemain kebangsaan, skuad Johor akan muncul sebagai pesaing hebat dalam memburu kejuaraan pada saingan Liga Super musim depan. Selain Safee, pemain lain yang bakal beraksi bersama Johor termasuk ketua pasukan kebangsaan, Safiq Rahim serta pasangan kembar Mohamad Aidil Zafuan dan Mohamad Zaquan Adha Abdul Radzak dan seorang lagi penyerang negara Norshahrul Idlan Talaha. Safee berkata, beliau akan menyertai latihan bersama pasukan Johor selepas berakhir Piala AFF Suzuki. Ditanya mengenai kecederaan yang dialaminya menjelang pertemuan menentang Thailand di Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil Ahad ini, Safee berharap beliau dapat pulih sepenuhnya untuk beraksi pada perlawanan tersebut. "Saya harap dapat memberi persembahan terbaik untuk perlawanan separuh akhir ini...Thailand pasukan yang hebat tetapi saya harap kita dapat catat kemenangan sebagai bekalan untuk aksi timbal balik di Bangkok," katanya.
